The issue I have with controllers is when vastly better mouse users get melted. Ultimately the mouse user will do better overall due to faster movement etc. So they win an equal amount of gun fights, they have the same skill level, so that seems fair. If each of them are a fair way from the crosshair, the mouse wins. If they both aim and shoot at the same time, controller wins. A lot of the time people say that with 2 players of equal skill, the controller wins. I understand people's gripe with aim assist being so strong on PC, but it's not quite as people say. It often traces people through walls/follows glitch ability etc. They increased it to reduce the gap between controllers and KB+M. The aim assist really is ridiculous on PC. They patched that glitch, the only way that's possible is using a XIM now, but I'd say (hope) that very few people go to that much effort.
